HydroVision Q-Eye Radar MT Recognised at Accadueo, Italy

Contact-free flow velocity measurement seen as major innovation in water management by industry experts     Kaufbeuren,Germany; 10th November 2014 – HydroVision GmbH, a leading provider of acoustic flow measurement solutions, was recognised during the Accadueo Innovation Showcase, for its Q-Eye Radar MT contact-free at the 12th International Exhibition of technologies for the treatment and distribution of drinking water and wastewater treatment in Bologna, Italy.   More than 100 products were presented at the exhibition, with three finalists being selected by the technical scientific committee of H2O consisting of water industry experts. Q-Eye Radar MT was recognised as one of the 3 most innovative products in the Instrumentation section and recommended as being part of the ‘network of the future for the planet’s future.’   Q-Eye Radar MT is a non-contact open channel flow meter. It consists of a radar-based velocity sensor and a water level sensor, normally radar or ultrasonic. The system is designed for continuous operation and suitable for measurements of flows not only in rivers and open channels, but also in municipal waste water and storm water sewers.
